Root Applied Science based in Oakland, CA is working on developing a device to detect fungal pathogens in the air. This device helps farmers avoid overspray fungicides which results in improved farming, saving cost on fungicides, increased yield and detecting of pathogens early on to save the harvest.

As an industrial design contributor, I helped conceptualize the enclosure of the sensor which would help farmers monitor the field.
