Quantum Hub

A conceptual micro-mobility hub solution

Tools : Rhino Grasshopper | Lumion | Adobe Photoshop

Time: 10 weeks | Team Project

Sponsor: Chrysler

Quantum is a hypothetical sub-brand for micro-mobility transportation services from Chrysler. In the team of 7 designers, I was responsible for designing this experience hub where users could come and rent a car and enjoy an immersive experience of Chrysler’s sustainable leadership.

In 2040, we envision air pollution to be at its highest, making it hard to breathe and step outside of the house. As cars are one of the number one reasons for air pollution, I wanted to design something that could filter the air and house the rental cars. When people visit, this hub would be an experience centre where they can enjoy themselves with their friends and family and get immersive experiences showing how the world has changed.

This hub design is inspired by AIR

Designing air was a tricky part as air does not have a shape. I decided to use grasshopper to guide me for creating design directions that are are aesthetically pleasing and visually convey an enclosed space of filtered fresh air.

As I am a self-learner of Rhino Grasshopper, this code was created with the help of multiple YouTube gurus teaching rhino. Pleased with the results, the final design was a holistic mix of an organic structure becoming a part of nature while a robust space to hold more than 100 people
